Another zombie game. Also Minecraft.

This could be good, i allways wanted a zombie survival game with resource gathering and base building.
this could easily have just been a minecraft mod
Could be fun
this has potential to be great.
and it has the potential to be extreme shit.
as much as I like that it looks not blocky with some things, the mixture with actual blocky things (pretty sure the name is voxel) is a little odd along with the character. But, it's pre-alpha.
Yeah the voxels vs realistic stuff really irks me. I'll keep an eye out for it though.

Except this clearly has more effort put into it than minecraft, I'll keep an eye on this game for sure.

I assure you that mods have been made that are like this.
The buildings collapsing on itself look great. But the zombies just breaking through walls seems kind of gimmicky. Especially since in that trailer they did not break the window tile first.
I was extremely confused at first. I saw the more realistic approach and then saw the blocks and just thought, "what".
this could easily have just been a minecraft mod
Just because a game has block type gameplay doesn't mean it has to be a mod of Minecraft. I personally would love to see more games take advantage of a voxel-style sandbox genre.
It could do with having some diagonal halfblocks just to smooth out the landscape a little. Zombies should also prioritise which blocks they break first. So instead of getting blindsided by a zombie busting through your back wall they all swarm towards the doors and windows and start to break down the house from there.

woaaa just like any game
I would be sold if they included towns and maybe some downtown areas (tall 10 story buildings maybe) to explore (despite being post-nuclear apocalyptic)

multiplayer would potentially be hella cool with friends too, possibly building chain link fences and watchtowers and searchlights
that voice acting holy shit

Yeah, walls should be infinitely stronger than doors or windows
those gun models look so insanely bad, they better just be placeholders
they don't match in with the rest of the game or the melee stuff at all
The gritty dark textures and the blocks really clash, it reminds me of those photorealistic minecraft texture packs.
please dont pull a warz

"it has cubes so therefore it is minecraft"
It's extremely easy to generate layers of terrain when it's designed like this. I can see why they did this very easily.
It looks more like Wurm Online than Minecraft.
why are zombies allowed to break the walls into your house.
They sure could have gone with some stylizing instead of going with the "realistic" textures.
Why on earth would you even put somewhat "realistic" looking characters and textures in a voxel-based game?
Well, at least it doesn't clash as horribly as FortressCraft.
That voice over reminds me of the IronMan 3 Manderain
they should have went with a stylised cartoony look, kinda like team fortress or wildstar
the blocky geometry mixed mxied with the realistic textures looks terrible
this has potential to be fucking awesome but why in the everliving fuck would you combine realistic textures with a blocky world like that? it's so jarring. the UI also looks like shit.

Yeah it reminds of those "realistic" texture packs for Minecraft that look TERRIBLE.
Looks disappointing.
I'd also like a game where you are not a survivor, but a police/soldier/commander trying contain a outbreak of lethal case of zombies. A bit change from the typical "oh fuck oh fuck everything is fucked, try to survive: the game"
Think opposite "Pandemic" where you try to recognize, locate, quarantine and stop a virus
