• Star Wars - New future movies?

The idea of George Lucas would create another Star Wars movie seems very unlikely to happen. But still, there would probably be people in the future after George Lucas who would have an idea of creating a Star Wars movie. Maybe that would sound pretty much retarded yes, none could ever make a movie about Star Wars as good as George Lucas and his crew. Maybe its for the best to leave Star Wars untouched and leave the six movies as it is and don't bother with creating a new one. But still, if there was a part of Star Wars that you would like to be created into a movie. For example the game Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 Jedi outcast with Kyle Katarn or Star Wars Republic Commando etc, etc. If you wanted a new Star Wars movie what would you like it to be about? And does it seem possible that there would be new Star Wars movies in the future? If i wanted a new Star Wars movie i would like a movie about Death Troopers. Trailer to the book, Star Wars Death Troopers. Star Wars Death Troopers - http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Death_Troopers When the Imperial prison barge Purge — temporary home to five hundred of the galaxy's most ruthless killers, rebels, scoundrels and thieves — breaks down in a distant, uninhabited part of space, its only hope seems to lie with a Star Destroyer found drifting, derelict and seemingly abandoned. But when a boarding party is sent to scavenge for parts, only half of them come back — bringing with them a horrific disease so lethal that within hours, nearly all aboard the Purge will die in ways too hideous to imagine. And death is only the beginning. The Purge's half-dozen survivors — two teenage brothers, a sadistic captain of the guards, a couple of rogue smugglers and the chief medical officer, the lone woman on board — will do whatever it takes to stay alive. But nothing can prepare them for what lies waiting onboard the Star Destroyer amid its vast creaking emptiness that isn't really empty at all. The dead are rising, soulless, unstoppable, and unspeakably hungry.
They should do movies based on the extended universe.
Zombie Stormtroopers? But yea, I would love to see a movie about the Yuuzhan Vong invasion of the galaxy, done well.
They should do movies based on the extended universe.
Yeah this there is tonnes of cool shit in the star wars universe that's not even hinted at in the films.
A KOTOR-era movie would be cool.
They should do movies based on the extended universe.
Yeah for example the Mandalorian wars. That would be epic to see if there was made movies about that.
Thrawn Trilogy. Best Star Wars villain. Do it.
Didn't Lucas wrote 9 scripts anyway? Maybe they'll do that in the future. I'd love to see some stuff from the X-Wing series (the books) made into a movie.
I actually want to read the book in the OP. Combines 2 of my favorite things, Star Wars and Zombies.
I actually want to read the book in the OP. Combines 2 of my favorite things, Star Wars and Zombies.
I read the beginning and haven't come far into the book. But you can be sure about that its horror at its best.
Death Troopers would make an amazing movie.
Too bad the main story is over and the movies would be shit. The old (I mean before you digital remakes of the originals) ones were the best. I mean the ones I watched as a little kid, on VHS. THOSE are the best ones. especialy because there are parts left out from them in the remakes.

It was an amazing experience for me as a kid to get the old VHS box of the 3 first star wars movies at Christmas. I watched them all over again several times. My favorite star wars movie of all time is "Empire strikes back".
Thrawn Trilogy. Best Star Wars villain. Do it.
Oh my god this, those books were really well done.
A KOTOR-era movie would be cool.
This.
Knights of the Old Republic. Make it so.
Why don't they make more Star Wars movies anyway? They'd make a lot of money.
Fuckin' Kyle Katarn needs his own movie.

I would like to see kyle katarn in a future star wars movie. But I guess that will never happen.
If they make a new Star-Wars movie they should make it much darker, like in the OP's trailer.
I would like to see kyle katarn in a future star wars movie. But I guess that will never happen.
Well imagine 20 years from now or maybe even less. Imagine the technology we have then when it comes to video editing, special effects programs and stuff like that which people can get their hands on. And if there is a team with people who are dedicated to make a movie. Then this could easily happen. A movie with good story line and good special effects(if that even matter).
not likely
Why not?
Yes. Kyle Katarn.
KOTOR as a film would be amazing, I mean the scripts written as the characters are very in depth, as well as the story line. It's already like a film in a way.
*Ontopic: As long as he doesn't fuck up his moves like number 1 (Really number 3 :P) *OffTopic: This explains my above statement. Star Wars Review
KOTOR as a film would be amazing, I mean the scripts written as the characters are very in depth, as well as the story line. But if it was to be made into a movie then it probably had to be in more then one movie since the storyline is huge and the parts of the game that needs to fill this movie is huge.
They really should do the Republic Commandos book series, great chance for action scenes, ready-made love story, and plenty of bad ass Mandalorians (1 who is an ex-Jedi).
Star Wars has such a huge story they could be making movies and books for the next 100 years.
A movie based on the books about Darth Bane, the Sith lord who came up with the Rule of Two, would be amazing. Leastways it has the potential to be amazing.
