The first film scared the shit outta me.
Saw the trailer for REC 2.
Looks like a great sequel,Folows on 15 minutes later.
Should be epic.

I really enjoyed the first one, I dunno how well it did in reviews, but I personally loved it. Looks like this one has more police/military presence? Awesome.
Though I liked watching them slowly become zombies in the first one. Going from a stable situation to utter shit. It'll be interesting to see how this one does without that element, seems things are pretty shitty to start with.

the whole appeal of the first movie was the sense of being trapped with the free world looking in on it, it provided atmosphere
taking that away it would just be like any other zombie movie

a virus doesn't magically spread, even if a "zombie" managed to bite someone (outside) the building, it would probably be contained the same minute
I heard that even though Quarantine and REC were pretty much the same, Quarantine will have its own series of sequels. REC is more demonic posession, while Quarantine is biological.
That's what I was told anyway.

The first one was excellent. Really good flick. My brother and I want to watch rec 2 soon. (He's a horror movie freak)
I preferred the first, purely because the characters were more vulnerable therefore more realistically portrayed. SWAT team aren't really characters we can relate to, especially with video games portraying them as almost super human guys that can do anything. Good movie though

It was just meh. Its good enough that I would recommend watching it. The ending is pretty cool.
