This is a track me and my friend made together. It was an amazing experience, because we rarely see each other seeing as he just moved so we sat down and tried to
create something we both could be proud of. My style is more or less ambient cinematic music and his style is heavy dubstep style music.

The mix could use some work though.
I think it would sound cool if the drum kicks sounded like a hammer hitting metal. Otherwise I like it
Actually not bad. I'm personally not a fan of dubstep, but the minimal, ambient style your friend used is actually tolerable for me. It really works well with your ambient cinematic style as you described it (which by the way sounds great as well). Not a bad track at all.
The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the snare sample you guys used. It's really air and pronounced, so it gets a bit repetitive. Other than that, very nice track.
