It's amazing. Real filmmaking instead of just tons of CGI (I'm looking at you Mr Bay!) just makes it feel like you're in there. I really like how Max is more in the background then ever. Makes him more like a myth than ever and it really works.
I do love me some redlettermedia
regardless of debate over storytelling, one thing is clear. Mad Max Fury Road revitalizes the standard for the modern action film. The visuals alone make up for any possible shortcomings in any other field. Fury Road may not be the epitome modern retake on the Mad Max trilogy that everyone envisioned or hoped for, but standing alone- it is great. [editline]17th May 2015[/editline] oh also the soundtrack was good
I haven't seen the video yet, but what I liked about this movie was that it was not like other action movies lately. It was serious and there was good action but never really tried to be funny a lot like Guardians Of The Galaxy or Avengers.. it was really refreshing.
500 pounds of furry fun
Just watched the movie tonight. Fucking-Amazing
It's like watching Tim and Eric.
Well Tim has been on the show
Just like Jay said, I can't think of another movie this year that could exceed this one for me.
Mike has an unusually deep voice in this one. Sounds like he might have cold or something
Has it got any spoilers in it?
Has it got any spoilers in it?
half in the bag always spoiler free
Has it got any spoilers in it?
It has spoilers.
Has it got any spoilers in it?
yes, but there's a big warning advising you to skip it when it happens. the rest of it doesn't tell you much of anything
Has it got any spoilers in it?
Nope.
Just like Jay said, I can't think of another movie this year that could exceed this one for me.
Well, there's Star Wars.
I was caught of guard by the [sp]Furry Porn[/sp] jokes
I think the thing I liked most about the movie was the extreme detail in all the costume work and the world in general. Like the one time I ever felt that way from a movie universe before was the Star Wars OT
This is a series that never fails to inform and entertain me.
WITNESS ME! WITNESS MEEEEEE Also, the Battle-Rig was fucking awesome. [editline]18th May 2015[/editline] THEY AWAIT ME IN VALHALLA!
Fucking amazing movie, way above the mess of a superhero movie named Age of Ultron. Worried that the Force Awakens won't be my fav movie of 2015, which I really want it to be
This is probably my fav action movie of the year and few more but I'm still hoping EP7 will be my overall MOTY.
