But I thought we've already proven that the Universe was the creation of a giant slugs sneeze?
But I thought we've already proven that the Universe was the creation of a giant slugs sneeze?
I thought it was made by the Flying Spaghetti Monster, frankly.
Yes the universe is literally just a big bag of cosmic lego Now I see the truth. I'm ready to join the lego religion
you are all wrong the universe is merely a concept made in your mind everyone but you is a mere figment of your imagination, and every concept, every value humanity has ever created is therefore an extent of your dreams everyone you know is not real everything you know is not real
I used to think everyone except me was a Robot.
Sounds like something one of the robots would say.
That's a cool helicopter. That's all I really took away from the video. Why were the LEGO bricks wrapped in cloth? Did he think they would burn his hand?
my dad thinks this [editline]12th April 2014[/editline] im serious
i can't put into words how sorry I feel for you
Difference being that there's been 14 billions of shuffling stuff going around, all based on physical fenomena wich favor the particular types of life on earth to exist. Different environments give rise to different beings( think dinosaurs?).When the earth's tilt changes you would have a lush forest teeming with life instead where there is now sahara. we've come at a point where humanity has the final word on whether a species, group or individual of an animal(or plant, or bacteria etc) gets to live or not. Most times it doesn't because it's against our interests( if you don't treat bacterial disease with antibiotics you die ). Saying there's an architect continually manipulating things around is debunked nowadays imo( unless you think of the natural laws of physics, chemistry, etc to be the said architectural phenomena, wich could be said it is true ) I'm not saying that there's no vindication for the afterlife.we all want our lifes to be meaningfull, even after death.but saying that my idol is the rightfull one and yours isn't is false.Atheism imo is an idol form, a way of being part of a group. we need that as humans, we want to be part of a community, be it religious, ethnic, professional, based on hobbies etc. But it's pointless to tinker about things wich are not part of our physical world, and to argue that they are, when there's no such argument to be made in the first place. There are only asumptions about the concept of god, faith, spirituality, heaven, hell, afterlife, damnation, salvation, sin and the soul, there's no coherent definition, none falsifiable. You can see by looking at human history that plenty of unique communities of people had different definitions of those terms, but they were seeking the same empty hole to be filled. As a human you want at least once thing in life to be inalienable, indestructible, in the face of the randomness, complexity and insecurity of real life, where death, illness, hunger, thirst etc can bring you misery and uncertainty. Immagining/believing that there's a 100% secure concept(either god in theistic view or in atheistic view the concept of science) only goes to fill that empty gap.
my dad thinks this [editline]12th April 2014[/editline] im serious
Well it would really make no difference in anyone's experiences if that were the case. Unless they thought that they could control this mind illusion and be Neo.
That's a cool helicopter. That's all I really took away from the video. Why were the LEGO bricks wrapped in cloth? Did he think they would burn his hand?
if you were playing with the foundation of life I'm sure you would want to make sure they were clean
I have to tell you that this was actually the same way Poppo converted us Danes to Christians. Their god was mighty enough to do such a thing
That's a cool helicopter. That's all I really took away from the video. Why were the LEGO bricks wrapped in cloth? Did he think they would burn his hand?
Lego is the work of the devil
you are all wrong the universe is merely a concept made in your mind everyone but you is a mere figment of your imagination, and every concept, every value humanity has ever created is therefore an extent of your dreams everyone you know is not real everything you know is not real
Could be true. The only thing I can be certain of is that just by considering this scenario, I must exist somewhere in some shape or form.
you are all wrong the universe is merely a concept made in your mind everyone but you is a mere figment of your imagination, and every concept, every value humanity has ever created is therefore an extent of your dreams everyone you know is not real everything you know is not real
Mostly this is true. you will never have thoughts of someone else in your head. If you die, you don't know what happens and the universe ends with you because you can't feel anything past that point(yet proven though).
That's a cool helicopter. That's all I really took away from the video. Why were the LEGO bricks wrapped in cloth? Someone needs to read the blind watchmaker.
