This shit doesn't happen on any other websites that I go to at all.
Along with the fact that I cannot post at all, it also refuses to sync my password, and sometimes just stops letting me scroll the webpage.
Why is Facepunch so special? :(
Does it work on other VBulletin sites?

Yep.
Edit: just checked out a few more forums, appears that the problem is with the editor - sites that have the same editor as FP don't work, but all others work just fine. Strange.
I got the same problem on my android phone, but for every single website. Tried both chrome and firefox, so the problem doesn't seem to be the browser. The address field works nicely though.
Other than auto correct being an annoying whore and posting videos sometimes being difficult I've found the last month using just my Nexus 7 tablet for posting to be alright.
-snip-
Works fine on my phone.
Someone really should continue to work on that facepunch mobile app.

But there's the facepunch development curse!
Its because Facepunch relies heavily on webkit for text fields (like most full-featured text fields do on websites), and IE mobile doesn't support it. As bad as webkit supposedly is (much like flash), its still a standard that a lot of things use, so IE mobile not supporting it is bad. Sadly, a new browser for Windows devices won't really solve it since browser for windows devices still have to use the IE framework (you can't just use completely different frameworks like you can with android). This has its advantages - the browser is generally much more responsive and stable than you'll ever get for most android browsers, but its much less flexible and big issues that the framework has (like no webkit support) can't ever be solved.
I have the same issue. My solution was to use UC Browser for WP8, then if I wanted to type a reply just enter "speed mode" which basically removes all webkit/styling/etc at the cost of having a much more basic interface and not having the keyboard use auto-correction for some reason. UC browser is easily to run out of memory though on memory-intensive websites like FP, so I have to only browse it one tab out of time if I want to avoid a crash.
Also FP could really use a mobile version. It sucks having to read threads on mobile due to all the side scrolling and clicking tiny links, how much memory/images full FP uses on the phone and it also sucks how when using FP on tablets, the UI is HUGE making it so I can only read one post at a time.
In the age of smartphones, Facepunch definitely should have a mobile friendly site.
I used facepunch plenty of times before on many other phones including yours and it worked normal
Also a while back there was a facepunch app but I think it no longer works

well garry can't be bothered to make one, and third party efforts all ended in disasters because the facepunch api is cursed
I am having no issues on my S3
my iPod doesn't work on messages boards or image browsing sites like tumblr
Likes to crash a lot
I have ALWAYS had this problem with my HTC 8x, until I opened this thread just now...
The WP7 version of IE Mobile works fine from what I remember.
Be honest
You made this thread to show off your tablet and phone

You can clearly see the issue he's talking about and it is pretty significant bug.
This same thing sometimes, but not always, happens to me in Chrome on my Galaxy Nexus

No, I tried FP on my old lumia 800 and it sucked
I have had no issues on mobile chrome apart from how when you type you get lagged response (happens with every site its not a big issue)
I don't bother browsing the forum on my Note 2. It just feels too clunky to be of any enjoyment. I may check to see what SH has going on but that's about it.

It works fine on the Lumia 900.
Don't mind the background audio, I'm at school at the moment

its mainly the fact that image intensive pages were a pain in the ass to load on IE9 mobile
have you tried changing the message editor interface from http://facepunch.com/profile.php?do=editoptions?

Even the advanced editor works on IE9 Mobile. Must be something with how IE10 Mobile was programmed. http://youtu.be/aRpT0tW9Ym8
Works alright on my tablet and phone, although it'd really be nice if we were to get a mobile version or possibly an app (because we all know how that went).
Waaait, hang on a second...!
You're NOT a real hedgehog!!!
[editline]-[/editline]
For the people who are missing the joke, it's kind of a forum in-joke that ezhik is a hedgehog
gg
oh yeah I noticed that like yesterday on my Lumia :(
It'll work somewhat well on my phone, the only thing that bugs me is you can't see the ratings on some people's post if they have more than 4 different ratings. I'm using an iPhone.
