The only thing I can think of that could make drawing backgrounds easier for you is to keep it at a really simple style, very much like you're doing so far. I'm loving the style you've got going and this is yet another interactive I hope lives on for a long, long time. Don't worry about having to post updates at a brisk rate jenny7332, take your time. The idea of waiting for something makes it more exciting, and you don't have to burn yourself out within a few weeks either. :)
