Are you on a server playing? Every time I join my friends server, its really laggy because of the update. It doesn't seem laggy for you, are you in single player?
I've tried running a server, but it gets really laggy. My 1400mhz dedi server doesn't like Minecraft, maybe I need to finally convert the thing to Linux or something...
But joining a server isn't that problematic, FPS wise. But I find the lack of stuff from singleplayer, well... Lacking :D
I've only played on servers. I find single player lacking. If I start a server, you should play on it with me.

Add #t=[number of seconds] to the end.

It's my own, located on my website in the news section (version 1.1 is compatible with beta, but I haven't checked to see if there are new textures)

Cool so this does work for embedding as well. Never knew, or tried that :D
A friend of mine mentioned this right after the update :P
Shame the update mangles the game with bugs, crashes and makes it even worse than alpha. Notch is a such a fat Swede. He needs to start doing work instead of releasing shitty updates and paying people to be his friends.
That texture pack looks terrible, the logs look like piles of shit
