looks like cyst is going to be for early wave swarms which, i assume, would mean that the clot is for higher level swarming
I think the cyst is more of a variation of the clot. With some differences but not many. IT looks like it may lead other specimens toward it with its wails.

The Specimens already do that in the original game.
Unless they have certain specimens just wandering around aimlessly.
Would make for some amazing nope moments when you're the only one left behind getting chased by a the last couple of zeds and you open a door and find a fleshpound :v:
