hello fellow facepunchers, i have bought the Dunlop SW-95 Cry Baby Slash Wah Pedal yesterday, tested it on the store, brought it home and it wont work. [t]http://www.banzaimusic.com/image.php?id=7479&type=D[/t]
Since i did own the standard version i figured i wouldnt have any problem with this. I cant wrap my head why it wont work, i didnt bang it or anything in the way back.
I noticed that the standard required a 9v battery or adapter, and this one 2 9v's or an 18w adapter, and since i tried everything, from very ignorant position, i thought that maybe my amplifier couldnt handle that, since while the pedal is with the effect on it sounds like it lacks a power supply, just like when the old one starter running out of batteries.
My amp is an Ibanez tbx15 (15w) : http://www.musiccenter.com.pl/product/2425/ibanez-tone-blaster-tbx-15-r-outlet.html
is that possible? should i just refund it?
Your amp is a solid-state or modeling, correct? I believe pedals are more towards tube amps.
On top of that, I've had problems with pedals not responding to battery power. Have you tried the adapter?
