Saying Merry Christmas and Thanks to your country's troops - General

Although I'm currently not overseas.. and I apparently was a bit late with this thread due to deadlines for packages and cards. (And this thread will probably end up revolving around US troops but if you google how to do it for your country's troops I'm sure you find something too) I currently am in the USAF as a maintainer and although I know many people who are going home.. I also know many who aren't. I stayed here so others in my shop could go home and as awesome as that sounds, it sucks. It's my first christmas away from home and I'm basically alone. The food on base is ok, but it's not the same. Basically, that's why I ask that if you see a troop, from any branch, who is alone or if you can try to find anyone who is.. say thanks, give them a card, invite them over for a dinner. It's probably going to be 100 times better then what they were doing. And like I said.. it's a bit late now but the holiday season isn't over either. I know even something small would make a lot of us feel better. I'd also find things for other country's troops but I'm not sure how easy/difficult things can be and this was a spur of the moment thread.. So feel like I should apologize so it doesn't seem like I don't care.

I really feel for those guys. They need to kill some infidels while spreading Christmas all over the shitty countries when their families get to sit at home and eat.

My post was directed to the fine troops of my country, not to FP, I'm sorry if that was misunderstood. The part about changing the constitution is about the proposal to allow the bundeswehr to do counter-terrorism missions inside the country.
