And here I came expecting something bad. I am pleasantly surprised.

There seems to be a bit of a hate stigma against Lindsey Stirling but for the most part her violin is really good and the songs are pretty well done.

Rusty does have a bit of a point, but I'm willing to give credit when it is due. The videos alone are pretty good - camera work, effects, and other elements are well done. The costume making seems to be the best though. My only issue is yes I'm sure it is hard to dance with a violin but some shit she does it just goofy as hell. Some of the songs seem to be pretty generic and rely heavily on other instruments to fill in that "gap" I guess, it bugs me because her and the violin seem to be the focal point of all of her performances. Other songs seem to be really well made and are really enjoyable. She is a bit of hit and miss with me, but i do admire the creativity in these videos.

To be honest while I really like the zelda medley and dubstep violin a lot of her songs really are pretty samey.

I think you misunderstood me. There are videos where it seems the violin isn't the focal point and other instruments try hard to fill in that gap. At times the violin does not fit in, and seems goofy. The sound of the violin seems to even get drowned out by other noise..
