Kickstarter projekt for Zach Braff's new movie "Wish I Was Here" - General

He chose to start a Kickstarter so that he could decide which actors to cast, where to shoot (comic-con was mentioned) and what the final cut would look like. I've already pledged 175 $ since i loved "Garden State" and i really want this movie to be made, and as it looks right now it will, with almost $ 600.000 pledged in under 10 hours! I've been hearing a lot of shit about how Zach and begging for money and ruining kickstarter because he's a billionaire already. I don't think any of them have seen his kickstarter clip. Definitely sounds great.

The story is interesting. I'm a fan of Zack Braff so I'm likely to throw some money at this. Also they're only $100,000 from their $2,000,000 goal.

The main virtue of kickstarter I'm interested in is all of the stuff Zach says about financiers undermining creativity. I'm pretty sure he'd end up with a [I]much[/I] bigger cut if he did it through private funding, anyway.
