I expect "LOL LAME SPIDERMAN THOUGH", the slender look for this one looks far better than the last, but the last suit was more classical. I have high hopes.
he's more techy and nerdy it seems as well in some ways, I'm just getting that vibe, and has the actual non-genetic based web (which is how it was supposed to be?).
well the suit doesn't look as bad as i thought it used to but to be honest i liked most of the changes they made in the tobey movies (web is a power). too much color stylization (or whatever, it's very spier man color themed as opposed to just having natural colors) in this for my tastes.
so many comic book movies though. avengers, tdkr, this, men in black 3. wonder which one will take the biggest box office.

in the original comic yes but it has changed through the years. i like the technology independent spider man more myself
Meh, I liked it when the suit actually looked somewhat real. Now the CGI looks so cartoony
Ever since they released pictures of what Peter looks like in this one, i've been getting spiderman related nicknames.

Holy crap, that was a really great trailer. I'm glad Spiderman finally has humor again, as opposed to emo parker from the last ones.
Also, that cinematography was godlike. I don't care if it was CGI, it was gorgeous.
This is a reboot right? not a sequel? at about 1:15 or so it looks like he is building some kind of web emitter, which was what he had in the comics, rather than the organic web from the last three movies. I'm cool with that.

im glad they went back to the original style , maybe its just the nostalgia, was expecting them to screw up the reboot but i think ill really enjoy it.
If they make a second movie after this, Rhino better be in it. I'm not exactly sure why but I remember him almost as much as Venom (not a big comic fan)
I honestly don't like the look of this, I'm getting bad vibes that it's trying to take itself too seriously in order to keep up with the likes of Watchmen and Nolan's Batman movies, when it really shouldn't because Spidey has always been a light hearted character.
I mean sure, there was that one scene in the trailer where was making wise cracks, but just the way the whole trailer is framed seems off to me.

I think the trailer was more to draw in the action crowd, From the looks of his comments in this and other trailers, he seems to be pretty sarcastic, which I'm excited about.

That's something I love about classic spiderman, the banter. Toby seemed to really suck at the banter, he was always too quiet.

He also looked fat in the suit. New Spidey seems more agile what with being skinnier.
I don't really like the tech web-shooters, even if it is standard lore. Having them be artificial makes it seem like he should be called Super strong sticky-hands Man.
I also think the lizard would look a bit better if they had given him a reptilian snout as opposed to what I assume (0:17-0:18) will just be a buff guy covered in scales with a voldemort-esque face.
Still, I'm glad they are bringing Spiderman back and will probably go see this anyway.

parker will be too detached in this from the audience. in the tobey movies he was just a normal nerdy kid who became spider man by chance. in this he seems pretty much destined to be spider man (from his parents and super intellect) and in fact only HE can be spider man (since he can invent stuff not even the fucking military can, the web and shooters). making the web shooters biological was a smart move since it made parker a whole lot more connectable.

From what I've read, they have changed his origin story. More similar to 2003's Hulk where Bruce Banner's father was mucking with his son's DNA and the gamma radiation accident Bruce had years later simply awoken the latent change in his genetics. Making him the Hulk

The lizard face design is so crap. I like that they brought back color into it, has such a nice comic book feel to it now.

Can't you just admit that you had a crush on Tobey and miss him? I don't know why you have to put up this act, it's much easier saying you miss him than complaining about the stupidest things.

Though, I have to admit, i'm going to miss Tobey. I also think having the web come out of your arms instead of a machine is much more badass, but that's just my opinion.
