The Sword Parrying is going to make being a zerker very interesting.
Did I just see a smg variant of the m4. It looked like it was using .45 acp magazine stick. I saw it at 5:10-5:12.

Looks like the first new gun that wasn't in the original.

My guess is weapon customization.
[editline]14th November 2014[/editline]
Or maybe not.
never got too into the first killing floor but one thing i always loved about it was how meaty the gunplay felt
and then they just went and made it even meatier
my hype levels are rising
I hope that they're playing on ridiculously easy settings.
I also hope that you cannot parry a freaking Scrake or Fleshpound, which I think I saw in the last snippets onward to the end of the video, which is disappointing.
Lets hope that their leveling system isn't complete shit compared to Killing Floor/Red Orchestra 2.
Lets hope that it's optimized well.
I have some hype for this game, but tripwire isn't always excelling on their initial release at times.
I just hope they add cool guns, some minor weapon customization would be really neat though. That would fit the game quite well.

I can imagine with the new perk system, the effectiveness on blocking would be one of those optional perks, this is only an educated guess though.

I think it's a good balance for berzerker players, otherwise you're going to take massive damage trying to swing at them with your ridiculously small range.
I'd love to see the gore system in a gun porn military shooter so that the end result is kind of a worthy SOF sequel. I'd love to see some sort of cross between gun worship and movie action. Fuck, if noone does this sort of thing, I'm gonna have to make it myself at some point :V
I still don't like the black and white zed time.

Game demos are always in the easiest settings to show it off the best, even using godmode at E3 lol
I can't imagine parrying a FP doing more than reducing a little bit of damage
I wish the gore system was a bit more dynamic. Something more free-form like in MGR would be cool in a shooter, like seeing a body fall apart exactly where you shoot instead of at predetermined locations like this.

This would be hard to achieve if you want it to look believable. In MGR you use a sword so all cuts are straight and flat, not the case with guns unless zeds are made out of marble.

That could sort of work(the marble thing). Increasing the number of locations where the zeds fall apart would make strange things like shooting someone in the chest and suddenly seeing them break in half down at the waist less likely.

Normally, good Berserkers can just kite around them by not doing too much damage at a time, though.

Yeah, it's just the Colt 9mm SMG.
[editline]14th November 2014[/editline]
Also how the fuck is that guy pronouncing "melee"?

Sounds like he's pronouncing it the way it is spelled - "me-LEE."
Honestly, I've heard it pronounced both that way and as "may-LAY".
Seeing as I am American, I tend to pronounce it the second way, though I have been known to use the first way as well. I consider them both valid pronunciations.
Anybody else notice some of the Clots walking like Vince McMahon?

May-lay is how it is supposed to be pronounced, me-lee is just weird. :v:

Someone better make a Vince voice pack for clots dammit.

The Bullpup is now a full size L85 as well, and i believe we saw an HK416.
Also, it looks like that SMG was the M4 type weapon we saw in the trailer. Also I should point out, even though the original was called the Colt 9mm, they're now made in three or four different calibers, so there's still some possibilities there.
Really cool that all the blood stays there for the entire map, I can't really think of any other games that have done that.
they should make it slippery where tons of blood has accumulated
"I can't wait for someone to play the game and fill the entire world with blood."
That is the greatest sentence I have ever heard spoken.

New rifle at 2:22, the AK-12
I am probably going to buy a new PC for this game.
This is everything I want in a video game. Gore, amazing animations, satisfying weapons, cool technology, gore, dosh.
Call me juvenile I don't care, I am a simple man and I like simple gory violent fun in videogames.
