I'm a huge fan of flight combat sims
I have X-Wing vs TIE Fighter on disc inside the jewel case still, one of my favorite flight combat games of all time.
I've also played X-Wing and Tie Fighter (dos versions), both are two of my favorite flight combat games as well

I haven't played the Wing Commander series yet though so I'll definitely give this one a try.

im not, i remember playing a game that looked like this MANY years ago and being mad because there wasnt much gameplay, but im not even sure if this one is it
