Honestly on iOS it's pretty bad too even after the most recent update, but not as bad as on my Android devices. Glad to see them working to improve it but I think the lack of quality on both platforms stems from the fact that they make no ad revenue with their mobile apps.

The facebook app for windows phone is the best I've ever used. (The one you download from the market)

I've been using Friendcaster instead for a while now, it's far better

The iOS version is sadly also shit, glad i haven't experienced the Android version, if it is so much worse.

iOS has many alternatives for the real Facebook app, look up Fastbook if you got a iPhone

I don't ask much from a social network, and Facebook does everything you really need perfectly.
