Seems really suspicious how he died, I mean why was the cellmate covered in blood. Why was there such a delay to the button being answered if the guy was on suicide watch

Don't really pity him but if the prison system is in such a state that inmates can torture one another to the point of suicide you gotta wonder what's going on. Today's metro had an article about high suicide rates in prison so this isn't an isolated occurrence.

From what I've heard, our prison system isn't as bad as it is in the US but there are still a fair share of underlying issues, especially in regards to reform.
But yeah this guy I've got no sympathy for. Feel bad for his family but he can rot.

There are many incidents in which the cops turned away from actual literal murders taking place. Jeffery Dahmer's death is an example.
