it's so amazing to see the park fully done up and open. it's such a cool feeling. i think it's something everyone who's ever seen the original film has always dreamed of
the rest looks so dubious though. i can imagine loving the first 30 minutes of this film and cringing throughout the rest
I kinda like how they made a new enemy that isn't just the T-Rex, would've gotten really overdone after that.

I had the same thought, they did run through most of the ideas in the films before though.
Also I'm really glad they didn't show what the dinosaur looks like. I'm not expecting it to be mind-blowing or anything but it's nice to keep us guessing.
is it just me or does chris pratt look mentally disabled in a lot of these shots like i dunno if he is trying to be dark and brooding or whatever but he looks like he doesn't know who he is or what's going on

You know normally trailers these days show almost every good scene in the film, seems like this one actually hasn't which is pleasing me, also glad they didn't show the dinosaur.
Looks good, but I suppose that is what a trailer is supposed to do. Seems to be no returning cast from the original film from what it seems (I don't keep up to date with the world of film) which is a shame. I don't know about anyone else but I would love to see what happened to the original park on the island and see it possibly in ruins after 20 years.

[sp]this is the same island. there are maps you can see in trailers and shots released so far with an area of the island marked 'no entry' or something which is rumored to be the old ruins which are overrun with raptors
(i like the idea that they'd build this billion-dollar new park but wouldn't clean up a few raptors from the old one first. also in maps of the old park, the park literally takes up the entire island so i don't understand how this plot idea works. maybe the 'old park' is just the old visitors' centre n stuff)[/sp]

Also, the shark looked fake, what the hell? I'm pretty sure the producers understand what pressure the movie is under because of how good the effects looked in the original (don't remember the sequels), how did they let it pass? Anyway, maybe the will fix it in the future
Looks decent, but I'm not sold on Chris Pratt in a dramatic role. CGI also needs a lot of polish, but they've got time for that.

Henry Wu was one of the original characters that will be returning, although he had a minor role in the first JP film.
