A cop from the area I live in pulls over a car for a traffic stop, and noticed a crying sound. So the cop starts to investigate and finds a cat being marinated in the trunk of the guys car. This man ended up being arrested, and cannot adopt any animals from any shelters. He is also charged with animal cruelty. You can read the full article here. Also, the poll is for fun:cop:
Tasty.
Saw this in the paper this morning. I guess the cop made him screech to a stop.
Poll? [editline]07:02PM[/editline] Also, that's awful.
Why was he marinating it in his trunk...?
:wtc:
why would you eat a cat [editline]07:08PM[/editline] ever
It's supposed to be dead before you marinate it. Amateur.
:wtc: Doing something as disgusting as that should be equivalent to manslaughter. That's just torture.
:wtc: Doing something as disgusting as that should be equivalent to manslaughter. That's just torture.
No, that's cooking
no, that's cooking
while it's alive!?
He claims he did not want the cat because it was ‘possessive, greedy and wasteful.’ That the cat got pregnant after ‘spaying,’ even though it was a neutered male.
:wtc:
was it alive when he found it? never mind, clicked link and the title answered my question
was it alive when he found it?
The article says that the cop heard "crying"
Well generally yes things are alive before they die.
Why would he marinate it while it's alive?
It's supposed to be dead before you marinate it. Amateur.
Not if you want to preserve the flavor.
Sorry but I laughed
while it's alive!?
Lobsters.
Thats sick any one who thinks its ok to hurt any house hold type animal needs a lot of jail time...It's even more sickening knowing that animals don't know what punishment or cruelty is...

Whats way more entertaining than the fact he tried to eat it is this:
He claims he did not want the cat because it was ‘possessive, greedy and wasteful.’ That the cat got pregnant after ‘spaying,’ even though it was a neutered male.

Not if you want to preserve the flavor.
I suppose that's personal preference, but it's a lot easier when it's not alive.
Thats sick any one who thinks its ok to hurt any house hold type animal needs a lot of jail time...It's even more sickening knowing that animals don't know what punishment or cruelty is...
Animals know what punishment is. That's why your dog doesn't repeatedly crap inside the house.
Start with a cage containing five monkeys. Inside the cage, hang a banana on a string and place a set of stairs under it. Before long, a monkey will go to the stairs and start to climb towards the banana. As soon as he touches the stairs, spray all of the other monkeys with cold water. After a while, another monkey makes an attempt with the same result – all the other monkeys are sprayed with cold water. Pretty soon, when another monkey tries to climb the stairs, the other monkeys will try to prevent it. Now, put away the cold water. Remove one monkey from the cage and replace it with a new one. The new monkey sees the banana and wants to climb the stairs. To his surprise and horror, all of the other monkeys attack him. After another attempt and attack, he knows that if he tries to climb the stairs, he will be assaulted. Next, remove another of the original five monkeys and replace it with a new one. The newcomer goes to the stairs and is attacked. The previous newcomer takes part in the punishment with enthusiasm! Likewise, replace a third original monkey with a new one, then a fourth, then the fifth. Every time the newest monkey takes to the stairs, he is attacked. Most of the monkeys that are beating him have no idea why they were not permitted to climb the stairs or why they are participating in the beating of the newest monkey. After replacing all the original monkeys, none of the remaining monkeys have ever been sprayed with cold water. Nevertheless, no monkey ever again approaches the stairs to try for the banana. Why not? Because as far as they know that’s the way it’s always been done around here.

Animals know what punishment is. That's why your dog doesn't repeatedly crap inside the house.
Thats called teaching and learning.
Thats called teaching and learning.
Based on punishment.
Thats called teaching and learning.
And punishment, cruelty, rewards, and generosity are part of learning. We spend a lot of money on animals, and in return, we share affection for each other. Animals do understand which in this case, makes it sad. I hope this cat finds a good home.
Laughed when I heard this on the radio. Live around where it happened.
the fuck is WRONG with us as a society?
