They can, it's just a pain in the ass to do.

Oh god, the part at the end where it seemed like he whispered into your ear freaked me out.
If you close your eyes etc. and keep the room quiet you get the full effect. And you can feel the shaver when it gets near one of your ears. Also when he whispered into the ear you can feel his breath etc. Fucking amazing.
late, but never tried it since getting new headphones
