A truly powerful and respectable leader would be open to criticism and insults, able to lead without it being a hindrance and above sentencing someone to jail for doing it. Putin doesn't strike me as weak so I don't see this being an actual thing.

Its really really really sad that we're back to basically feudalist times in this respect, hopefully someday we'll get past this

The idea of the socialist part in national socialism is that the government has full control of industry. While private companies did exist in nazi germany they could be requisitioned at will by the state, which is what comprised the socialist side of national socialism.

The officials should put themselves in prison, because they are the real insult.

The bill has no sense because codex already has the sentences regarding offenses and slander. If it gets accepted it would be another dirty mark on russian laws
