Basically, my friends are seemingly fine after a few hits while I have a hard time walking or making coherent sentences. The high always starts out normal (albet more intense than those around me) - sometimes I'll get the strobe light effect, feel like I'm riding a wave, get hungry as fuck, cotton mouth, ideas turned into tangled spaghetti, etc. It starts out pleasant enough.
But if that was it, I wouldn't be making this thread. Half the time I smoke, I end up with this laundry list of unpleasantness during the plateau:
Chills - Holy shit last time I smoked I was shivering so bad it looked like I was having a seizure and I probably could've cooled a soda with my hands
Nausea - I'd chalk this up to motion sickness, as it's usually at its worst when I'm getting the "wave" effect. I've thrown up multiple times after smoking and I've only been smoking for about a year, ~once every two weeks.
Headache - They aren't that strong, but it still feels like there's a small storm going on in there
Paranoia - Of course, when I get the above symptoms my mindset tends to turn to shit and I start freaking out 'IS THIS LACED? DO MY PARENTS WHO AREN'T HERE RIGHT NOW KNOW I'M HIGH? AM I FUCKING UP?'
Panic Attacks - Guessing this is caused by the paranoia
Sweating - I don't always get this one, but when I do my hands and forehead are fucking dripping. This might be caused partially by the panic attacks, but I might have a fever as well (never tried checking temp).
And when I look in the mirror, on top of my eyes being extremely red, my skin turns green/grey-ish. I look like a corpse and it's kinda scary. Regardless of whether these symptoms are very pronounced, my high is always unreasonably intense. Anyone have any idea what my problem(s) might be? I'm a 5'9 125lb teenage male.
everyone reacts to drugs differently, don't smoke weed if you don't enjoy it.
Otherwise just smoke less but with that many adverse effects I would say stop smoking weed.
CBD is your friend. THC is CBD's irresponsible brother. Try high CBD strains, avoid high THC strains. Some peoole are just more sensitive to THC than others. Only smoke as much as you need to, don't try to keep up with your friends. Eventually you'll build up a mental tolerance to that stuff (which is different, and much longer lasting, than a physical tolerance.
I used to have problems similar to yours when I smoked. It was probably related to my unusually high natural level of anxiety as well as PTSD I got (weird diagnosis to get man) after a nearly fatal illness/ordeal and some other shitty stuff that followed after. You'll be fine. Just smoke ridiculously small amounts and slowly build up.

I don't always get the effects listed, and when I do, it isn't always all of them. Unless the negative effects get too overwhelming I usually just consider it a trade-off. Yesterday I had it pretty bad, but before I got all the negative effects I remember turning to my friend while eating french toast sticks and telling him "This is the best moment of my life". Regardless, if it kills my boredom I'll continue and just smoke less.

I'll smoke indica whenever I get the chance. As for the anxiety, I have that pretty bad as well and I'm prone to panic attacks while sober.

Thats probably the reason for all the bad effects, have you had yourself checked out for any other mental problems because marijuana can make those worse

I haven't so much as had a checkup since elementary school.
I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but my panic attacks are generally triggered. If I do have a panic attack, it usually comes after the onset of some of the other symptoms.
Yea but i mean legit panic attacks aren't normal

like most people don't get scared or anyhting when they are high because they know that theyre just high.

Oh I'm not disputing that. You're probably right about the high exaggerating whatever mental issues I have. I just think that the shivers, headache, and maybe nausea might be caused by some organ other than my brain.
I've read about people with some, but not all, of these symptoms pointing the finger towards the circulatory system.
I agree with the advice of starting small and working your way up.
Get that mental tolerance Appellation was talking about.
dude
your body and weed doesn't mix
stop smokin nigguh
Actually that sounds like it's all from anxiety, minus the headache, although stress can cause headaches. Try smoking by yourself, as it sounds like everytime you do, you're with someone. try it on your own and see if you aren't as anxious by yourself. But you must enjoy something about it if you keep trying it.
Also it seems like you're smoking weed that's too strong for you, since you must be new to smoking, try smoking by taking like one or two hits and then set it down and enjoy it. Getting high doesn't always mean you have to go all out ridiculous blazed crazy.
When I smoke, 'adversely', I just generally sweat a little more and spit a lot, but I don't mind it. My friends and I even joked about how I will end up buying a solid fuckin gold spitbucket.
I also suffer from sickness after and sometimes during smoking marijuana, really frustrating as all my friends do it and by me not taking part I get left out. The sickness is pretty ridiculous also, even from them hotboxing a shed I still had sickness the next morning.
I always get paranoid an anxious after smoking, and a couple of days after my anxiety levels are higher than usual.

What the heck are you on about? If english isn't your first language I understand, but just saying "I have sickness" isn't very descriptive, and with you it also is most likely anxiety, unless you're a minority that have underlying brain diseases or possibilities. My bet's on anxiety though, people really don't realize how much your mind can fuck your body up.
Smoking the marijuana has been known to cause severe side effects like paranoia, madness, fear and loathing!
if you're a sissy
it's weed lol
You might have a thyroid problem. My friend had the same problem. He went to the doctor for a check up. And he told him his thyroid wasn't working properly. So after a few months on the medication to adjust his glands he was able to smoke weed again no problem. It may not be the case for you but it could.

sounds like you're greening/whiting out

You're so cool.

My brother did have those exact effects as listed here. Some people are more sensitive to something in cannabis. My brother still smoked a many times with me, saying that his trips were at least interesting :)
After a few tries he noticed the points what made him uncomfortable, he slowly got used to them and after a few months he was getting high like most people do :D
