• Republicans are openly considering Donald Trump's 'emotional stability', says Carl Bernstein
Donald Trump’s “emotional maturity [and] stability” are being discussed in private by senior members of his own political party, according to veteran Washington journalist Carl Bernstein, in a turn of events he has described as unprecedented. Bernstein was speaking on CNN late on Wednesday night, when he revealed there was “open discussion” among Republicans about Mr Trump’s fitness to rule. Mr Trump has continued to repeat unfounded claims that between three and five million illegal votes were cast in the 2016 election, helping sway the result of the popular vote against him. There is no evidence to support such allegations, and they have been met with dismay by senior Republicans. Bernstein said discussions going on in Washington this week were “unlike anything I have seen in 50 years as a reporter”. “I am hearing from Republicans, and other reporters are as well, that there is open discussion by members of the President of the United States’ own party about his emotional maturity, stability,” he said.
Independent
Haha you done fucked your selves Republicans
about Mr Trump’s fitness to rule.
Excuse me?
Haha you done fucked your selves Republicans
I wonder how trump(and his fans) would react if his own party tries to impeach him, would he have a meltdown live? :v:
You couldnt have picked somebody slightly more sane considering the Orange in Chief had negative approval within your own party???
Haha you done fucked your selves Republicans
The GOP fought tooth and nail to prevent Trump from reaching this point, it's the far right voters that pushed him through the primaries.
The GOP fought tooth and nail to prevent Trump from reaching this point, it's the far right voters that pushed him through the primaries.
They could have not endorsed him and had a spine.
The GOP fought tooth and nail to prevent Trump from reaching this point, it's the far right voters that pushed him through the primaries.
Far-right voters they cultivated, used and now got out of their control, the irony is delicious.
The GOP fought tooth and nail to prevent Trump from reaching this point, it's the far right voters that pushed him through the primaries.
They shouldn't have endorsed him in the first place considering how badly they thought of him to begin with. They could have picked literally any other candidate besides this clown.
A lot of them didn't endorse him until after he was the GOP candidate and even so, they did begrudgingly because they had no other candidate.
Not even a week into the presidency and an impeachment is steadily growing more and more likely. I'm both excited and worried to see where this all goes :vs:
IIRC there's still a couple GOP congressmen that still never endorsed him
This means Jeb still has a chance. It was his turn!
A lot of them didn't endorse him until after he was the GOP candidate and even so, they did begrudgingly because they had no other candidate.
There was a while where ted cruz wouldn't endorse him but eventually even he folded.
There was a while where ted cruz wouldn't endorse him but eventually even he folded.
As if endorsing him after he's already passed the party convention made it matter, which is when a lot of GOP did :v:
Haha you done fucked your selves Republicans
He can still always be impeached if things get too out of hand
He can still always be impeached if things get too out of hand
They need an actual legal reason, though. They can't just kick him out of office because they don't like him.
They need an actual legal reason, though. They can't just kick him out of office because they don't like him.
Emoulments clause
They need an actual legal reason, though. They can't just kick him out of office because they don't like him.
I know, that's why i specified if things got too out of hand And if i were to take a guess they probably will, but that's just me
It's good that the republican party is starting to question what the fuck they are doing though.
Haha you done fucked your selves Republicans
i get the feeling that senior republicans are just itching to get pence into power though...
Emoulments clause
Has not happened yet. We need a foreign diplomat to stay at that hotel first. The possibility of him breaking the law and him actually doing it are two separate things.
John Kasich should of gotten gop nominee
i get the feeling that senior republicans are just itching to get pence into power though...
i'd take it at this point
i'd take it at this point
Yeah, as much of a monster as pence is, I'd rather have an emotionally stable and professional monster than one that is completely unhinged.
I'd love to see Bernstein help take down another shitty President.
They need an actual legal reason, though. They can't just kick him out of office because they don't like him.
andrew johnson
I wonder how trump(and his fans) would react if his own party tries to impeach him, would he have a meltdown live? :v:
I would be entertained. The whole point of a trump presidency is to invoke chaos and create a hard reset. The problem is if the GOP tries to go after trump, it wouldn't surprise me if trump uses the surveillance apparatus to dig up dirt on other politcal office holders as a means to fight back. Its going be a wild ride 😈
get him outta here, get out
get him outta here, get out
OUT, OUT, OUT!
