Now I have a lot of Photographs, and soon videos with my new camera.
All the pictures are taken with my new camera, and I rather keep my old pictures with my Old camera on facebook and Google+ or something (Mainly because I lost half)
I am new at taking pictures, I try to take good ones, my favorite ones are night time photo's and I always wanted to do them. Now with my new camera I can make my dream come true.
Note: The candles on the cake aren't my exact age, we didn't have enough candles at the time.

To be honest your subjects aren't very interesting, and your composition is meh.

Would have been better for you to post in the creative photography megathread rather than make your own thread then.

Well I just read the rules, I also made this for my photograph dump, so I can post all of them here instead of losing track in the threads.

You are correct.
However, I suggest you have lots of content if you're going to make a thread, not just a single picture followed by "CC?". If that's all you need then keep to the Creative Photography thread or make a personal art dump thread that you continually come back to with new content
It doesn't specify what "lots" is numerically, but you've got 19. I've got more pictures and have been told the same thing by unofficial moderators.
However, it says that if you plan on adding to it (personal art dump thread), then it is okay.
So perhaps the self-proclaimed experts could give it a rest.
I will be posting some pictures from my old Camera here, until I get more pictures from my new camera.
Nice photos...
To be honest I like neither of them.
The only one with a nice composition is the one of the tracks and the tunnel.
Many of them seem kind of overexposed and the composition is pretty damn off.
For example the one of the buses: the rail is totally unnecessary, the gap in the glas would be a nice effect in a different angle/position.
All in all they look like you put no thought into them when shooting them. Just point and shoot.

Someone had to say it
Just wondering, but are you using the Full Auto mode on your camera? (Assuming that your new camera is a DSLR of some sort)

It isn't a DSLR, it is a Coolpix S8100.
But I use the mode manual and Night landscape.
But the lens when zooming actually goes out, so the hole area where the lens is, goes bigger and the zoom is way better.
While in most camera's, it one makes the lens stay in one spot.

I do like the tunnels and the tracks myself.
The rail was not even suppose to be in the photo, we were above the busses to go to the other side, to go back to the hotel we were staying at, I did try the gap but I wanted everything in.
I actually take my time to capture pictures, but since we only had a limit amount of time, some of them look crap.
To be honest if I stayed there for a week, the pictures would of been better because we would have a week, not 3 days. (1 going up, 1 full day, 1 going back home)
I also take mutiple pictures and pick the ones I think look good, even tho it looks like I only took one, there is always more.

Looks kinda odd since the focus is on the background rather than the bloom, you probably noticed this yourself though.

I actually found out how it turned out to be that, if you get into this certain spot, the blur will be in the background and not on the object, but if you do it wrong the is the other way, blur on object, not in background.

that's the autofocus working its magic :v:
Since I have alot of photographs, I shall be uploading 5 pictures per-day.
So by the end of the week it should be around 20-25.
First lot coming up.
Folder(s)-Enviroment and Panorama's.

You either have a massive language barrier or no clue at all about the difference of analog and digital zoom. And "we didn't have time" is no excuse.
You may want to read up about a few photography and composition techniques, seeing how you don't even know about what focus is and how it works.

It isn't a Excuse, we seriously didn't have enough time for me to take good pictures.
I don't expect to be a good photographer, to win contests, to be a pro.
I do it for fun, something I can do when I feel like it. At one point I might start researching, I am still learning about my new camera.
Look I don't want this thread to turn into a war, I just want to upload the pictures and show people.
Heck even some tips, which I know you are giving, but I was away on holiday for my birthday and we had to get up early to leave the hotel.
But since I am back home, I can now get tips.
I am happy for you to enjoy your camera and pictures but I hope you understand that you can't just waltz in here with your own thread of pictures "just to show you guys" while some great artists have the decency to post their great work in the megathread, accepting the danger of pictures not beeing seen.
I also respect that you have the, lets say, balls and will to have your own thread. And the quality of your pics doesn't even matter. But the will to improve has to be there. That's what people respect.
Now I and some others say you have to put more thought into your pictures and you respond with "but I didn't have time".
You are making two mistakes:
- getting defensive: we are not trying to talk your pictures down, we are already giving you advice on your future shots. You are mistaking that as "wow your pictures are bad". But that is wrong. We are investing time to view and interpret your pics, to post, so we can see you getting better(e.g. what we think is "better") and that is what you take. Acceptance is what you give. Have to.
- "I'm doing it for fun" You seem to missinterpret the "fun". While I am sure that the work itself is a very satisfying experience, the satisfaction itself is( at least for me and I am sure for many others) the response of others, their reaction, their(yes) critique. Moving people. Now when people say to you that your pictures are NOT doing it, you can't respond with "I'm doing it for the fun", neglecting any posts in this thread and the use of this thread itself.
Ah, I do tend to read stuff like that, Okay, but I only have one more question, before making this thread I read the rules to make sure, one rule was you can make a thread to post your pictures in.
But I didn't see anything "But you need to post in threads before you do make one".
Where did you get that from? Unless you wrote it just for the "Just to show you guys" part.
You may want to do some post editing, the colour captured by your camera seems really off.
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
