I have to meet some requirements for a test, which include swimming 25 meters under water then swimming 400 meter freestyle in 11 miniutes.
The problem is that i only can swim 12,5 meters underwater at present, and i have to manage 25 meter and still be able to swim fast right after without being tired from the underwater time.
How long do you have?
Endurance sports, Like long distance jogging or Biking.
2 years, im training for military service, but i still want to manage it as soon as possible; as i have other requirements which needs to be trained alongside with this requirement.

Have been training for a year, every day; every week. I have gained alot of ground, but im still behind schedule in underwater swimming + intense swim right after.
So it seems like endurance isnt helping that much, my under water capability has increased from year 0 (10 meters) to 12,5 on one year.

Except not at all. If you're running, you need to sprint. A good way is to sprint (or run as fast as you can) for two minutes and then slower for 2 minutes.

Interval training.
Ill try the wikihow, and i also read that training lung capacity at high places increases efficency, good that i live in norway. Thanks for the help; but i would like some tips from some who have been training lung capacity also, would be usefull. :)

Good luck with your training then, unfortunately I think I have no more experience on the subject.
As far as I understand, the more you're stressing your lungs, the more you gain from it, which is why training in high places (low oxygen concentration) is a good way to train.
