North Korean official gets roasted by flamethrower
A North Korean official has been executed with a flame-thrower, South Korean media has reported, amid a crackdown on loyalists of Kim Jong-un's purged uncle.
As many as 11 senior party officials with close ties to Jang Song-taek have apparently recently been executed or sent to political prison camps.
Mr Jang was publicly purged in December and executed after being found guilty of corruption and activities that ran counter to the policies of the Workers' Party of Korea. The regime has shut down the department within the Workers' Party that Mr Jang previously headed.
What a Horrible way to die.
Fucking savages. You'd think they would atleast have the courtesy to realise it's purely a selfish act killing this guy, and do it painlessly.
Imagine if all of the civilians in South Korea were paid to temporarily relocate, so that a military takeover could be enacted on North Korea without NK bombing the citizens of Seoul.

Its Barbaric.
I think NK pretty much are Barbarians of the Modern World.
Kim Jong-un was craving some BBQ, I swear he's always hungry.

Imagine if China was actually committed to bettering the North Korean situation.
Some methods they use, off the top of my head: death by hanging, shooting, mortar bombardment, hungry dogs, flamethrower.
What else?

Death by rolling down a valley made of LEGO bricks.

Rolled down a hill in a barrel filled with lego bricks.
Kim Jong Kil'lah
This sounds like some James Bond villain stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if Kim literally had a shark tank and chairs that dump victims through secret trap doors.

They're also clowns. They don't have a government. They're just a big fucking joke.
Which is why I think world leaders need to convene and discuss how we depose Kim and install a democratic government.
Imagine if China was actually committed to bettering the North Korean situation.
It is my understanding that what China likes to do is to keep North Korea teetering on the edge of destruction, neither saving them or letting them fall. But at this point, I'm not sure if even China is pulling the strings behind the scenes.
that hungry dog thing was still worse than this. but man i wonder what he's gonna do to the next high up he knocks off

I read somewhere that even if NK pointed all their artillery at Seoul and fired the deaths in Seoul would actually be a lot lower than expected because of south Korean counter artillery (if you focus on killing civilians you aren't focusing on military targets) coupled with large amounts of bomb shelters and the overlying fact that there would most likely have to be advanced warning to evacuate the large amount of Chinese nationals and diplomats in the city

I'm pretty sure that hungry dog thing was a hoax if I remember correctly.
All these weird executions gotta make you wonder just what exactly happened between kim and his uncle. guess well never know....
On the other hand noone can accuse them of having boring executions at least.

This is also unconfirmed as of this moment, sounds more plausible than the dogs though.

Pretty sure they used to steamroll christians.

If they're willing to execute senior officials this way, I wouldn't put put it past them.

Atleast mortar bombardment would've been a quick death, unless the mortar exploded next to the victim and he slowly bled out or something. Hanging is still widely used all over the world iirc but not so much in the west, I could be wrong. I'm not sure about shooting or the dogs and being incinerated has to be one of the most terrifying and painful ways to die. I can't remember if you die from asphyxiation first or being well, incinerated and melted.
NK has had a very backwards past where they torture and rape their prisoners, abduct foreign people and generally just disregarding human rights completely. Its awful and I feel so bad for the innocent people that have to live there.
To be fair, I don't really trust SK media when it comes to the NK. A while back they reported that one of the NK generals, Kim Jong UN's uncle, was purged and his family murdered as part of a power struggle. Yet somehow there guy popped up a few weeks later as if nothing happened. SK media probably sensationalize a lot of NK rumours.
I'd try to make a joke here about how he needed a light for his last smoke but the image of a person being burned alive is just too horrific.

What kind of inhumane monster would do such a thing?
I read somewhere that even if NK pointed all their artillery at Seoul and fired the deaths in Seoul would actually be a lot lower than expected because of south Korean counter artillery (if you focus on killing civilians you aren't focusing on military targets) coupled with large amounts of bomb shelters and the overlying fact that there would most likely have to be advanced warning to evacuate the large amount of Chinese nationals and diplomats in the city
Most of their artillery isn't actually in range of Seoul, just a few (admittedly rather enormous) 170mm pieces can reach. Their large collection of conventional ballistic missiles, on the other hand, would definitely fuck up Seoul.
This is where I got info about it, quite a long time ago. Unfortunately the formatting has completely died on it, but the text remains.

Ugh. Just reunify Korea already. Too many innocent people are suffering and dieing in NK. We can't let them continue this forever.
I wish to see a Unified Korea in my lifetime.
strangely enough flame throwers aren't banned in war, they just were stopped being used during the 70's..
Why is there no intervention being done when crimes of humanity are possibly being committed around the clock?

A) China
B) It's fucking hard to do
They are reporting so much bad shit about NK without any evidence that I am not sure anymore it's true.
