US military shoots down Iranian-made drone in southern Syria - Polidicks

I don't see anything showing that the drone was unarmed. There so far isn't any pictures of it, so I think your use of quotations are unwarranted.

Exactly,it isn't known if the drone was armed or not.It is just speculation by the Americans. And also why we are at it,why would the Syrian Army send in another drone(supposedly armed) in the direction of Al-Tanf when the first one they sent was shot down?For all we know it could have been going towards Deir-Ez-Zor or IS positions near the Syrian foothold on the Syrian-Iraqi border in order to monitor them.Though the Syrian Army has justifiable reasons to be spying on the terrorists' training camp in Al-Tanf.
