Jeff Maka says the hubcaps he found are casualties of the pothole-ridden stretch of road between Fuller and Ball avenues. He said he put as many as 13 hub caps in the tree in the road right-of-way, and they disappeared last night. “People were slowing down almost to a stop because the road was so bad,” Maka said. "It was more like an homage fix the...streets." Grand Rapids has first- and third-shift city crews filling potholes around the city this week. But the patching being done is temporary until hot asphalt becomes available this spring, city officials said. I like it. All the politicians in the world talking about fixing the economy, and all I want them to do is fix the fucking pothole outside my trailer.
Fuck potholes. That shit will screw up your wheel alignment AND smoke crack with your children. I like this art more than the Steve jobs statue
How to Win the US Elections - A promise of a bottle of jack, fixed potholes, and $100 to blow on whatever you so see fit. You would win the election instantly.
Looks terrible.
Looks terrible.
you're an expert in hubcap-based art now?
New Era of modern art? The beatniks and rednecks of the 1950's beat this guy to the punch for this scene by about 60 years. This is the rural equivalent of the urban 'i'm going to throw my shoes over the power lines'.
my sister exploded her wheel on a pothole on THE main road just getting off the highway into our area, huge shopping/tourism town right there and it's usually well tended but it apparently wrecked up a LOT of people that day before someone went and dumped some gravel on it
"It was more like an homage fix the...streets."
worst attempt at finding a play on words
I bet the guy secretly has anger issues.

Now it just fucks with police in my area.
In my area people throwing shoes around power lines actually meant there was a drug dealer in the area; at least until people found out that was the reason.
you're an expert in hubcap-based art now?
Let's take this offline. then lets see what happens when you're defending yourself from a hubcap based art specialist [editline]28th February 2014[/editline]
it was pretty common to use them as markers (I'm pretty sure people still do now), even for specific types of dealers, the color of the shoes and even the laces could represent things
The only color I knew was lime green nikes for marijuana.
