"PETA's argument, however, is that the killer whales are actually "slaves" whose rights are being violated under the 13th Amendment. Counterpoint: Whales are not people."
i personally have whale friends that are smarter than most peta members
Whatever.
My whale is bigger than your whale.

What a great thread pic!
Obviously SeaWorld should pay the whales and compensate them for their hard work.
:v:
Silly whales, if they want to be a legal person, all they have to do is register as a corporation!
Screw the human centipede. Make the human whale. All the world's PETA members should just about make 2, then they can even reproduce and die horribly in the wonderful warring world that is the goddamned ocean.
What about all the cats and dogs that PETA themselves "dispose" of at their own facilities? What about their rights?
"Unworthy of being owned as a pet".
They think they're too "dangerous" or something.
Hasn't Shamu totally fucking eaten a person before?
Also, shouldn't they be focusing on ACTUAL whale issues? For instance, whaling?
[del]Or McDonalds not having the McRib as a permanent menu item?[/del]
What about all the cats and dogs that PETA themselves "dispose" of at their own facilities? What about their rights?
Shh, don't mention those. It makes them look like hypocritical idiots.
i swear, someday, i'm going to walk into the PETA building, and smack everyone of those motherfuckers in the goddamn head with a frying pan and make a video of it

Sorry, posting facts needs a lot of space. Peta is a tyrannical terrorist origination of people who are diabetic and live off Insulin, the same Insulin that gets tested by animals. They also are against testing with animals, btw. And they would kill a father of 4 who need him much sooner than a cow simply because he wears leather jackets and eats meat. Yes, you heard me right, motherfuckers,
A COW

Some bits of that chart are pretty stupid.
Like, really, an anti-meat organisation protesting the beef industry?
Who'da thunk.
I'd like to find a single person in the entire world who doesn't use an animal product, as well.
But yes, PETA is a terrible organisation funded by misguided people.

I find PETA to be misguided radicals, so every time I talk about PETA, I do it in an extremist way.
Its only fair.
They'll probably smash the giant tank in the whale room along with the walk through aquarium after it's closed.
Killing the animals and themselves!
They should pay whales salary, no more slavery.

Whats wrong with these people!

sure, their argument is stupid as hell, but seaworld shouldn't be keeping whales. you see how tiny the enclosures are? these are animals that are used to having an entire ocean to cruise around in. it's cruel keeping them locked up like that just so morons can giggle after getting splashed and can pretend to be interested in watching it eat fish

most of them are now born into captivity. they wouldnt be fit for the big open sea
PETA's lack of respect for human life truly is something sickening, so much so, I may very well learn law to force PETA out of business.
I really hope that I rise to an important enough position to one day debate with this "Ingrid" (or her successor, more likely - can't imagine she can live for thirty years more on her diet). It'd be easier than stealing candy from a brain-damaged fetus.
They should pay whales salary, no more slavery.
They already pay them. In fish, krill, and other assorted meals.
they can fuss about it when...
1. whales become people
2. when whales have jobs and pay taxes.
for now, they are just animals.
They already pay them. In fish, krill, and other assorted meals.
And they also stop them from being raped by Mako sharks.
They already pay them. In fish, krill, and other assorted meals.
It's like saying if I feed my workers I pay them. If you don't feed your slave, he will die.
I find it even more hilarious that some idiot will probably agree with PETA on this.
It's like saying if I feed my workers I pay them. If you don't feed your slave, he will die.
Well yeah, if your workers had no concept of anything but food and things that can kill them. Paper is neither.
It's like saying if I feed my workers I pay them. If you don't feed your slave, he will die.
But they have no need of monetary compensation as PETA implies. For they are whales, mammoths of the deep. Feed them treats as compensation, then.
