The rest are on my DA page.
I like the first one and last one. Good job!
WOW! I really want to get into photography too but I got a shitty Sony Cybershot with a faulty screen that flickers to black.
I like the last one and the one with the flowers the most.
Why do most people on here seem to take pictures at obscure angles?
Because it's 'edgy' and 'artistic' obvs.

It's my way of doing things, I have a wrist problem so I have to usually hold it in a awkward angle.
Pretty good, but some of it's too grainy. Use a lower ISO, lower f/number and a higher shutter speed.
I like the second image, the vibrancy and grain create an awesome 'vintage' effect. Did you edit these photos, or are the SOOC?

I retouch on them a bit.
I see relays there

best excuse ever

I promise you it's no excuse.
the first three shots were the only ones that i really liked in the least bit. you need to angle your shots better and hold the camera steady, because the last two shots suffer from camera shake. also, the subjects just aren't interesting enough, but it's a good start.

Well yeah, you don't want to see objects at a straight on angle if the object itself isn't very interesting. A photographer's goal in that aspect is to give the viewer something he hasn't seen before

you should realize that not everyone that does photography is a trendy pseudo-intellectual trying to be "edgy." vantage point is a key element in photography.
don't mind tom... especially since that post is 2 weeks old... though the only posts I've seen of his are trollish in nature, and he hasn't the slightest appreciation or understanding of art.
I actually wanted to reply to this particular post of his, but didn't feel it worth the bump. Thanks for taking care of that :v:
Why are they so grainy?
The first one sort of plays with my eyes, though, so it's all good. Like an Escher.

Maybe OP is using a Lomo?

Diagonal lines are more attractive to the eye than horizontal and vertical lines.

Tripod.

These aren't very interesting regardless. And not very well focused either.
The subject has to be interesting moreso than a dodgy angle, unless the angle shows a different perspective / interpretation to the subject that would otherwise be uninteresting. I wouldn't say these do this.

I beg to differ. Anything that gives me neck-ache and eye strain trying to look at it is just a nuisance.
First picture is my favourite. Love the noise pattern.
