Those are already a given. Le Pen is the heart of the party though, or at least her appearances in the media have really helped them out over the years. If she's imprisoned, she'll not be a problem in the future. Plus if they put her and these associates of hers that were involved through a good trial first, they can discredit her and help ruin the party at the same time. Anything that can be done to undermine and eventually pave the way towards its dismantling is good, for France and for the EU.
