Fallout 3: The Minds in One. A three man Let's Play. - General

So, two friends and I were struggling to find a game to Lets Play. Should we do a popular game, or do a good ol' classic game? We wanted to do Fallout 3, but we knew that would have been way overdone. So, we came up with a twist. All three of us would play on the same character and pass the controller every episode. So far, it's really been irritating for me, but I imagine it's more interesting to watch. Well thanks! Always good to get a new subscriber. But a question: what can we improve on?

Only thing I can see from watching the first two episodes, maybe split the audio output of the game into three headsets? so you won't get feedback from the game on the voice track.

We actually thought about that but we'd have to buy a cord in order for the computer to register all three at once. We are working with limited money/supplies. Thanks though.

That's awfully rude.

That is rather rude but he's still got a point. Us viewers tend to watch videos the less annoying it is; if we feel like it's trying too hard to be funny, we stop and there goes your views. Kind of like a "customer is always right", except now you have to filter who to listen to and who to ignore.

I actually really like the idea, only because of the kind of game though. Since it's Fallout 3, one of you could probably start the quest with Mr. Burke, and then in another video one of you kills Mr. Burke, and another still decides to nuke Megaton because why not. But if you guys play a more linear title the differences in each player's contribution would be infinitely smaller. I'd sub if I had a youtube account.

Well honestly Facepunch isn't where most of views come from. But yes you are right. And yeah we were also thinking of doing Mass Effect after this (the whole series) since thats a choice heavy game. And it is always good to hear people like it :)

A group of friends and I are going to steal this idea for Fallout: New Vegas. We're not going to record it or anything, it just sounds like a fun concept. We're going to rotate the save every day and screw around with each other.

So should we go for 100% achievements or would that take too much time?

Oh and we will be doing dlc's. we were just having some techinical difficulties and couldn't do them at first.

These are not enjoyable to watch. I can't place exactly what's out of place however.

Started at the third.. Ended at the third just because the one guy was yelling at the other guy for making a decision. Y'all got the ENTIRE game ahead of you and the homeboy is squabbling over 500 caps..

Yeah that was me getting yelled at. I was kind of pissed off because the point of the game was forbid to make our own decisions. Fortunately, that's the only time that happens. Sorry you guy didn't like it.
