First of all, I would like to say that I am not a furry myself.
I have probably seen about 30-40 threads where people have been complaining about "furries". More often than not, furries are not even the subject, someone comes in and mentions some sort of animal, and some jackass yells (er, types) "OMG UR A FURFAG OMG", and then the thread completely dies out into a raging horde of people complaining about furries. In my entire experience on the internet, I fail to see how furries are so bad. It's a sexual preference, it's like me coming on and yelling "HETEROSEXUALS SUCK". It's not like they are trying to convince you to be a furry, or dressing up as an animal and raping you. The only problem Ive ever had with any furry at any point in time was when someone kept spraying furry porn on a server, and that was only because I don't enjoy any type of porn in a videogame.
So I repeat, what the shit is wrong with furries?
