Is this going to be an actual Roller Coaster Tycoon game? Because Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 was a crapshoot of a mobile game, complete with all the crap that drags with it. According to an article I've found, this one's going to be microtransaction-free, so that's good. I guess we'll see how it goes.
4player co-op some how...
4player co-op some how...
From the article I found, it sounds like they're going the SimCity route for multiplayer. You and your friends will be able to have your own parks, and apparently trade between them. Not too sure how that'll work, but it sounds somewhat promising.
*here bob have some hamburgers*
*here bob have some hamburgers*
I was thinking more along the lines of trading ride blueprints for money, or other blueprints.

Trading customers. You do this by flinging a train from a roller coaster full of people into the other parks.

The one to have the most satisfied and number of guests in the park by a set date wins.
Mr. Bones' Wild Ride shall rise again
i dont see any queues. it looks like you just plop down a building and nothing more
i dont see any queues. it looks like you just plop down a building and nothing more
Queues would be a good thing to have, but I like the idea of not having to put normal paths around. It's more like a real theme park in that regard. I remember trying to run an open-ended park in RCT1 and all it did was make guests lost.
Mr. Bones' Wild Ride shall rise again
Rise again? The ride never stopped.
Please please please let this be good. I really want to lose myself like in the old games.
i dont see any queues. it looks like you just plop down a building and nothing more
I'd imagine you'll still be able to plop down fences, like in RCT3.

Guests will make a random turn every path tile if there's more than one available direction, so if you make a two-wide path they basically just end up spinning in circles. Wide pathways work much better in RCT2 and RCT3.
