JERUSALEM (JTA) -- Israel will close the West Bank for the Yom Kippur holiday, its army said.
The crossings will close from midnight Thursday until midnight Saturday "in accordance with security assessments adopted by the defense establishment," according to an Israel Defense Forces statement.
Those needing medical attention will be allowed to cross into Israel, according to the statement. Humanitarian aid, as well as doctors, medical personnel, NGO members, attorneys and other professionals, will be coordinated by the Civil Administrat
Hahaha you finally snapped.
Are you just googling "news against Israel" or what?
Anyways, almost everything is closed on Yom Kippur in Israel since it's a national holiday, and a lot of soldiers return home, so there are less on the borders and so on, so there's a valid reason for closing all the crossings, but as the article says if someone really needs to pass though, like medical needs, they will be allowed through if they coordinated with the civil administration.
I generally dislike Israel as a lot of their actions are bad/condemnable. (nothing against you BurnEmDown, you've calmed down a lot and become much more reasonable recently)
But you're a fucking retard, FreeThinker. If you had a single gram of neuronal cells that actually still worked in that brain of yours, you would realize that this is something that isn't malicious. There are completely legitimate reasons. Both because the border crossings become more violent around these times, and because there is less security due to the holiday.
