Gogglebox is a pretty huge deal here in the uk. It's just a tv version of reaction videos where people react to things happening on shows.
I guess it's the same reason as why people like showing things to their friends, but these are just some random nobodys so I don't get it at all.

The difference is Gogglebox has editing and has some entertainment value, because of the reactions they decide to use.
