Joanne Morris had seven sticks of plastic explosives and a home-made bomb when police swooped on her home in Station Street, Bloxwich on November 14 last year.
During a three-and-a-half day search of the property officers also seized 1,990 rounds of live ammunition, a dismantled 12-bore shotgun and 15 detonators.
Residents, local businesses and Bloxwich police station nearby were evacuated as the incredible haul was uncovered.
Chemical warfare protection suits and ration packs were also discovered at the address along with two samurai swords, a harpoon and a number of air pistols.
My exact thoughts
According to the article the only really dangerous item she had was a few sticks of PD4 explosive, the rest was shotgun ammunition, a few hollow points, a deactivated shotgun and a few Airsoft guns.
Jesus christ that is a lot of hardware.

The only thing thats okay in that whole sentence is the airsoft guns. Was the shotgun deactivated or dismantled as the article says?
Even then if those other pictures of weapons are airsoft they're meant to have the orange tipped barrel I believe.

No, since 2007 or so if you're not UKARA registered they have to be at least 50% coloured, I don't think we've ever had many orange tipped BB guns

They only need to be shipped/manufactured with the orange tip, if you take them off inside your house then it's legal.
aside from those explosives.. 1990 rounds is realistically speaking very few?
Worst case scenario that could kill 1990 people.

I think that only applies to the US. Either way I'm not taking off the orange tip.
Not just because I don't want to cause panic and get shot, but also because I lost the really cool black tip

In the US you need orange tips.
see when I first started to read the article before I posted it, I thought well its unusual for a woman to have all this kind of stuff but then about half way down I started to understand why
1900+ rounds? That's called a day at the range here in Merica'
1900 bullets is about 19 suspects with a knife in america stopped with the power of american police freedom.

Yes and no, unless you have ammo availability problems like we had in the states, it's quite a lot to have stored. Putting into other terms, 1990 rounds is about 2-3 minutes of constant fire through a full-auto M16, or about 25-30 seconds from a minigun.
1900 rounds is considered a large stash? Theirs a part of me demanding that I start learning how to make paper-cartridges again, and find a way to make a semi-automatic rifle for it. Smuggle a few semi-auto rifles and 50 rounds of ammo for each rifle, and find a local EDL charter to sell one rifle and fifty rounds of ammo for roughly £1500 - £3000.
So long as I keep the prices of ammo and rifle construction below $75 for rifle and $0.10 for ammo, I'd make a profit.
Mp7? P90? Cool.
Look at all that .22 ammo as well!

What?
I think the real issue that's not mentioned in the OP is sentencing her to 7 years in a male prison.
Why are swords illegal in the UK?

That's a great idea and will not get you in any trouble at all

Basically keep the price of the rifle at a range where you would still make a profit for exporting it across the pond and manufacturing cost. Not to mention you could also set up base in some nature reserve and drop that price down to £1000. The main reason for the high price is that the legality of the crime you are committing, trouble getting materials and such to the UK, and having an area to make home base at. You wouldn't want to run guns to the same exact area, because eventually the Police will catch on and eventually go down the chain to mind the gunsmith/smuggler.
In otherwords, the cost is mostly made up for the need of transportation and petrol. You would also need to find a safe spot to put the boxes, as a boat sitting on some coast line for a long period of time would grab the peeling eyes of just about everyone :v:

That's because they're a male-to-female transgender, so I believe they're going by the 'plumbing', so to speak. Also considering that they were identifying as male at the time of the arrest, it shouldn't be too large a shock in comparison to that of the inmates for a female prison were they put in such.

The last thing we want is the EDL having guns, because they are stupid enough to use them.
The only thing concerning about this is she had her gun license revoked and therefore shouldn't have been in possession of this ammo or that shotgun, and that she had a lot of plastic explosive. 2000 round of ammo isn't that much, I bought more than that for my first pistol because buying ammo in bulk is cheap.

Because someone might get hurt!
Was this the same incident that got garry and facepunch evacuated from the office last year?
Why are swords illegal in the UK?
Only curved blade weapons without a permit and not made in traditional methods.

And probably stupid enough to buy something which would be effectively a glocknade.

You can't compare America and Canada to England.
