I'm here to reveal the next big thing, yes a band that should be bigger than Hitler. The Dear Hunter have their latest album out called 'Life and Death' and it's something matured music fans should test drive. Fans of Pink Floyd, Muse, Mars Volta and Showtime music should try this out. It twists and turns through various genres and styles but what does impress is their use of dynamics, the skill of knowing when to hit the listener with a wall of melodic sound. Heres the info: The Lake South the River North 2006 8 track EP The Meaning of and all things Regarding Ms Leading 2007 15 track full album Life and Death 2009 14 track full album Heres the Myspace where you can sample a stream: http://www.myspace.com/thedearhunter Theres far too much shit music dominating the radio and music press. This deserves to be heard so have a listen and come back and tell me what you think. Everyone in the real world I've given this to have become totally obssessed with it.
I have only heard ACT III so far, I am going to see if i can find the other ones tomorrow.
I tought this was about Deer Hunter :saddowns:
These guys are awesome, thanks for the recommendation. Also reminds me of Pain of Salvation, check them out too if you haven't already and you dig this.

Heres a youtuber who has kindly put a album sample of the songs up on his account. For any serious Dear Hunter fans I have the 2 FREE EP's that they gave away via their website. These are not up anymore but I have this stuff if anyone wants it. Extra songs and some alt versions.

Red Hands has a heroic ending.
Great band
I fully endorse this band.
Not bad, not bad at all. Will look into this band.
Been listening to this band since they released Act I. Been in love with their stuff. Act II was definitely my favourite.

Theres very few who been into this from the start, act 3 is the one thats broken the charts. I was originally linked this on a Silverchair forum back on 06 in a request for something new to listen to. I am forever indebted to the german guy who linked me. I hope one day they might come to Europe, they have just been in Australia so theres hope. Fans of this band should promote this band. I have the stuff they gave away still on offer for anyone who didn't manage to get it.
