This video was made by my friend Exil, and the script was written by Lucifer Wolfgang, leader of the Mercs of Mikunn. It was shown by Frontier, the developers of Elite, during their 2016 Gamescom presentation. And I got to do the voiceover for it. Let me know what you guys think. I enjoyed that a lot. I don't have much to say because i've never played the game, but it was cozy and the script & your voice went well with the music and visuals.
Your voice is amazing, video is pretty damn good
It was a great video, but the game itself is such a let down. Barely anything to do, barely any players, and incredibly empty and repetitive. Why play Elite when you can play EVE or Star Citizen?

For example: EVE is a spreadsheet simulator with skill grinding, very hands-off in its execution. It's got a huge scale and a massive player-driven economy, but doesn't offer very visceral experiences. Furthermore, the game's old and its technology is very dated. No Man's Sky... well, that didn't turn out at all like the developers had suggested it would six months ago. And Star Citizen isn't finished, and one could make a good argument the current alpha build has way too many problems and way too little content to be enjoyable for more than a few hours. If Elite doesn't get its shit together by the time Star Citizen is done, nobody'll play it any more. Their player numbers are really dangerously low even now.

Elite is alone if you're looking for a game of its type, but like you said if SC finishes and soon, it'll mean the axe for Elite.

That is one sexy voice. Nice work.

Plently of time for elite to polish up and enjoy the time with the only title that there is that has advanced graphics in space genre. Nice video dude. Voice is pretty rad for a canadian. you must be excellent at apologising. I mean errr hypnotizing.
The script really likes to overuse the same word over and over (nomadic, in case you hadn't noticed). Parts of the narration would be much more impactful if you slowed it down a notch. It becomes a bit comical when you're cramming in all these big words into 2 seconds:
"We never abandoned that curious part of our nomadic hearts that propelled us to Copernican thought, and beyond."
Other than that, pretty cool vid [editline]22nd August 2016[/editline] btw, this isn't shitting all over you. Your voice acting was amazing, but whoever wrote that script needs a slap cause there are some fucking awful difficult lines you gotta churn out that are written in such a way that it makes it very hard for whoever is reading it aloud to give it a nice rhythm.

Do you think I spoke too quickly, then? That I should've drawn it out more in such sections? That tends to be one of my problems, something I do unconsciously when I've been putting a project off and want it over with quickly :V
Yeah I personally think it would have had way more gravitas if you slowed it down a bit. Saying that, though, the script you had made it really difficult to say segments slowly, because there's so many words crunched together with no many easily inserted pauses.
