Seeing this guy live was one of the coolest things ever. I've seen a ton of shows since I moved to Colorado but it's crazy to see someone with so much God damn confidence in how they play. Totally worth almost passing out from heat stroke because of no AC at the venue. :v:
I was about to go see him live, but he was at a 21+ venue. My dreams were crushed. So instead I got to go to a Primus show.
Probably the strangest tutorial video I've seen:
I used to be into this guy. He was a disciple of Paul Gilbert, I believe.
well the guy's still going strong, his style has only changed slightly over the years but he cranks out albums like it's nobody's business.
i haven't kept up with buck's releases since albino slug back in 2008, but i still love the guy. for a while he was my absolute favorite artist and although i don't listen to him nearly as much anymore he's still great, always a treat to see live. i once got to give him a caricature i drew of him via the toy trading thing he does at shows :) def my favorite album of his, probably my favorite song of his too
sooo pissed i missed him a few months ago. he came to a city near me and ughh the show was supposed to be awesome as hell
Buckethead always makes me want KFC.

he has done a handful of things with buckethead. buck played a number or two with primus at ozzfest 99, claypool is on a bunch of tracks off monsters and robots, and they were in a supergroup together along with brain and bernie worrell (parliament, talking heads) it was called colonel claypool's bucket of bernie brains and they did like 1 album and it was actually the best fucking thing ever
