Whenever I see this gun, I think of people saying they think of Hitman.
I've always pronounced it wazoo
firing a wa2000 is like firing a unicorn
Why didn't you post the inrange video that goes along with it?

The backpack strap is baller as fuck, and let's not even talk about the sculpted, polished wood furniture. Germans knew how to operate in style.
I've always pronounced it wazoo
I pronounced it WAAAHHHHHH Two Thousand
Holy shit, he finally did it! The madman!
firing a wa2000 is like firing a unicorn
made out of legos
Whenever I see this gun, I think Hitman.
I've always thought of "James Bond. The Living Daylights" whenever I see the WA2000
All that's left is the G11 and Ian will have finally done em all.
I always really disliked the look of this gun. The furniture makes me think of those hideous competition pistols that look like sci-fi movie props, it's somewhat bulky overall as well.
I wonder if Ian will get his hands on a G11
that shit would be fucking tight tbh

Even better if he could get his hands on ammo for it and actually shoot it.

I mostly want to see him explain this literal amalgamation of kraut space magic

I thought of MW2

I was surprised at how well it lived up to the hype in this.
Ian nailed their little course with it, while using his non-dominant eye and arm, despite being not that good of a marksman by his own admission. That is a quality piece of machinery.
was also in black ops, i think it sucked though
I liked using the WA2000 in Black Ops, especially when playing with friends.
They all got mad at me because it was terrible and I was bad at the game so it didn't help but I had fun so wa-hey

He may get into HK HQ one day but I doubt he'll ever fire a G11. The gun never went into service because it had a bad habit of running away and dumping an entire mag, and because its caseless, it had huge magazine capacity.
Theres also an issue with the ammunition not being in production for 30 years or so.
I think of Rainbow Six Lockdown because it was the only sniper rifle in the game.

I wonder what kind of connections the people who made these videos had
I figure that must be some kind of official promotional video. Maybe them trying to sell the weapon to the Japanese military?

I think they figured out the ammunition cooking off in the final stages of development by changing the composition of the propellant
Because Germany literally got reunited on the eve of development completion, and acquiring a bunch of surplus arms, Germany decided fuck it and not issue the G11 (among other factors like not acquiring contracts, NATO standardization, etc)
Supposedly it performed quite well

The video series its from features guns from a bunch of different manufacturers, though it does seem that they have some close ties to H&K since they were able to film and fire a bunch of their rare guns like the GR9/G41/G11
Whenever I see this gun, I think Hitman.
I think Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear.

The G11 has a special place in my heart from all those hours I've sunk into Syphon Filter

he got to take apart a pancor jackhammer, just because he can't actually fire it doesn't mean he can't take a look at it
