Have you or have you ever thought that you seen or thought there was a spirit or a guardian angel around you. I have a story similar to this. My friend that is a chick was talking about this in class the other day. She said some old guy that looked exactly like her grandfather walked into to the store that she worked in. She was the only one there besides the people working in the pharmacy. They were having a conversation and he says now don't worry about that boy god obviously thinks he is not right for you. (note) she has no clue who this man is. The weird thing is that her and her boyfriend had just broke up recently. She said that the man was calling her the nick name that her grandfather used to call her witch was shell. Short for shelby i am guessing. They talk for about twenty minutes. Her and him are the only ones there now. there are no cars in the parking lot except hers. She said when he left he said you have a nice night shell. The thing is only her grandfather called her this when he was alive. She went out to parking lot to see if he was walking along the sidewalk like a couple seconds after he left. She could not find him anywhere. Spirit???? Tell me what you think and your stories if you have any like this.
One time the ghost of my great grandfather told me that this is a poor thread.
I tried. =( But this is true though.
zombie goasts leave this place
Still gonna try that lucid dream?
My step father knew a man named Yancy who killed himself about 15 years ago. Well a couple weeks ago he was going into a leather shop to get some supplies when he passed by a man who was the spitting image of Yancy. My step father was in shock and said "Yancy?" the man who looked like Yancy just turned and said "The leather business is booming right now, I am trying to stock up all I can" and the man just walked out. Well ever since my Step father took that mans words and focused on his leather work he has been making a killing off of it.
This one time a ghost cooled down my coffee when I left it sitting on the table for a while.
Still gonna try that lucid dream?
Of course. I plan to ask my subconscious what my greatest fear is.
Of course. I plan to ask my subconscious what my greatest fear is.
Me to man i hope it works.
No, because I believe such a thing doesn't exist as well as other things considered highly paranormal.
there is no such thing as ghosts or any other childish figures such as the man in the sky called "god"
I drank some rum once.
No such thing.
my nephew stared at a corner of his bedroom, and so did the cat, and my mom thinks that its my nephews grandma watching over him but I dont really believe in that stuff, but its still fun to talk about
Me and Grampy Bone be there. strong spirits, all around me.
I'll tell you what the only thing here that's spectral is, your friend's grasp on reality. And no, I don't believe in spirits, ghosts, spooks, poltergeists, angels, entities, or astral projections. [editline]11:43AM[/editline]
Of course. I plan to ask my subconscious what my greatest fear is.
Sucks to be you when you find out it's being questioned and you wake up in a cold sweat.
Spirits aren't real, it's been proven so many times. Show me science instead of vivid stories, then we'll talk.
I believed in ghosts. Now I don't. I used something called skepticism and the scientific method and found that the nonexistance of spirits (and, therefore; the logic of the Dualist worldview) was more probable than the existance of the same.
this thread seems like it's trying to be the sleep/dreams/lucid dreaming thread
I believed in ghosts. Now I don't. Almost as bad as solipsism. Nothing but fallacious circle jerking.
My friend that is a chick
Why do sad people always slip that into general discussion threads? I can just imagine the OP sat writing it like "I have a friend who is a girl. So cool." :smug: Emphasising the point only makes you look like more of a loser.
