The hurt locker was so incredibly weird.
I know you wanted something 2005+, but there's a really great (and underrated imo) World War I movie called "The Lost Battalion". I suggest you watch it.
yeah I really meant something that I havent seen already, Ill check The Lost Battalion out.
Generation Kill. It's not a movie, but its a 7 or 8 part (Can't remember exact number) war series. It is truly fucking amazing.
Rescue Dawn is a pretty good POW movie that's based on a true story
Rescue Dawn is a pretty good POW movie that's based on a true story
Oh man, That is what that movie was called, That was a great movie, Dident know what "Rescue Dawn" was until I saw the screenshots on IMDb. Thanks for reminding me of the name.
The Pacific? Its not really much of a movie but a series with +- 1 hour long parts that feel like movies themselves.

Dr. Strangelove
I meant newer then 2005 but thats ok.
Newer than 2005: Jarhead The Hurt Locker Generation Kill
Inglourious Basterds if that counts. If you're looking for something more historically accurate, though, then I dunno.
Almost none of those are new, none the less you should still watch all of them.
What do you consider new
Max Manus, it's Norwegian, but damn good.
Not new, don't know if you've seen it, or if you like it, but I enjoyed "Casualties of War", the one with Michael J Fox.
Avatar, because the Na'vi is fighting for freedom.
Three kings was OK. IDK if that's since 05. [editline]12:43AM[/editline]
Avatar, because the Na'vi is fighting for freedom.
Go die.

You're welcome
Avatar, because the Na'vi is fighting for freedom.
The humans should have one. :colbert:
I wish the Na'vi lost. It would be a huge plot twist, and it would totally make everyone re-think the ending.
At least their tree got exploded. And if its a trilogy like everyone says it will be than maybe they'll make avatar 2 the usual "dark second chapter" and everything seems to go wrong for the na'vi. That would be cool.
The Green Zone.
The Longest Day
Jarhead Men who stare at goats
The men who stare at goats isn't really much on the war scene. It's just about some journalist that was going to cover one thing then next thing he's trying to get a story about a super secret training program. And jarhead hardly has anything to do with war, it takes place in a war but you don't actually see any or hardly (It's military drama).
