• Holiday Traditions - What do you always do during the holidays?

So it's once again that time of the year again. Christmas is 4 days away and we're nearing the end of December. I was wondering what some of the member's of FP's traditions were during the holidays? For me, it would be watching and reading "The Polar Express" by Chris Van Allsburg. I've been doing this since who knows how long. It's one of those classic christmas stories that just screams Christmas spirit. I also have my annual watching of classic christmas movies like, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Miracle on 34th Street and many others. So FP, what are your holiday traditions?
We get together with a bunch of our friends, pool money, and then buy gifts and a tree for families who wouldn't be able to afford them. Then, a few days before christmas, we have a party somewhere and wrap all the presents.
cry in my closet naked while covered in vaseline.
Everyone in my house fights and argues a lot about something really stupid. Its kind of like that all-year to be honest.

WCCO (local news station) always shows "It's A Wonderful Life" every christmas eve, and I'm usually watching it with my family.
We usually go skiing in Italy, France or Austria over new years, but this year is gonna be the first time in about 8 years that we havent, feels weird. I mean, in those ski resorts theres usually an amazing, free to watch fireworks display and the hotels do extravagant 3-5 course meals, but back home no one ever seems to do anything interesting, other than go on a night out or whatever.
I wish for better gifts next year.
That thread and now this? You're the crappiest christmas person ever :v: I do my best to avoid seeing any relatives, and feel guilty if anyone gives me anything.
One simple rule. Christmas food must not be eaten until the coca-cola truck advert has been on in presence of everyone, so that we all seen it. Then, you can eat the christmas snacks.
