• Fake lottery ticket

So today I was walking home from school. I grabbed the mail before walking inside my house. I looked through it and I noticed a lottery ticket. I looked over the ticket and it was made out of flimsy paper instead of the heavy paper used in real lottery tickets. Also there is no picture of Indiana in the corner with the dollar amount in it, and no where on the card did it say "Hoosier lottery". It's probably a scam so whoever made it can send me junk mail. Anyway, pics: Front Back I guess I won :v: Edit: I think I'll call it. I'll post results, I just hope it's toll free.
Congratulations..? :downs:
You should call the number and play along with it until they do something to try and scam you
Seems legit.
Great! Congrats! Hopefully you'll get a real winning ticket one day!
You need to call immediately!

Everyone gets them and they're all winning cards. It is a advertisement scam that suckers people who actually believe they win.
We get this shit in the UK all the time.
According to the small print nearly 50% of the cards win the travel certificate worth $175. So basically they give out $87.50 for every ticket. Legit. Call 'em.
You're on lucky bastard.
Time-share scam.
Sell it to someone for $2,500

Phone to see what you win, probably just a laugh then followed by a hang-up
I've seen people give out fake lottery tickets for joke gifts on birthdays and holidays. The recipient scratches off the ticket, and thinks they won big money. They react accordingly, only to later discover that it's all a cruel hoax. I always feel horrible for them. It's about as funny as a trash bag full of unwanted puppies.
