Yeah, I heard really positive things too.
Shame it wasn't developed for the current-gen consoles/PC.
Shattered Memories was really good. It wasn't frightening, but it was highly eerie, and more importantly, the story was told superbly.
So long as this new title is better than The Room and Homecoming, that'd be great in my book.
Well, atleast us ps3 owners can finally get a Silent Hill game now...with trophies. But anyways this was shocking to me. I almost died when i heard about this.
If it is gonna be another re-make, they better not touch my god-damn Silent Hill 2. :colbert:

What makes you think that, because Yamaoka has left Konami, the music will instantly become worse?
You know the music is a big part of Silent Hill? Konami know that too, what gives you the impression that their music for this game will drop in quality?

Actually i didn't like Silent Hill 2 at all. I liked Silent Hill 1 and 3 only.
This made me realize I've never played a Silent Hill game :saddowns:

In my opinion, SH1 is good but doesn't hold up too well today. SH2 does, and is my favorite SH. SH3 was good but there was a lot of shooting. SH4 was strange and I didn't like it a great deal (despite my name) I thought HC was actually a pretty good try at a SH game and I never got around to getting SM.

Original Silent Hill is far superior. It's just not known by many people. SH3 wasn't needed. It's a direct sequel to the first game. SH4 isn't even a Silent Hill game, I can't even stand the demo because of lame ghosts.
I think Shattered Memories is the best Silent Hill game since SH2. It's trying to do something new, rather than recycling old ideas. Homecoming and others are poor attempts to clone first two games, and their success.
