An analog watch is one in which the display is not digital, but is indicated (typically) by the continuous motion of two or three rotating pointers or hands pointing to numbers arrayed on a circular dial (the hour hand's movement being analogous to the path of the Sun across the sky). Post your watch if you own one, or discuss the finer aspects of analogs.
People who own analog watches: amazer97 timmyvos mobrokers2 Pitchfork slbobo
Personally, I own one of these. Great watch, love it!
I own like 5 or 6 or so but the one I'm currently wearing is this one: It's really nice and I got it in a sale.
Analog watches are sexier than digital. Way sexier.

Yeah I would like to have a self winding analog watch, I think that the winding mechanism is powered by swing the arm. That it would not be so big as fuck as well.
Analog watches are sexier than digital. Way sexier.
I have never seen someone wear a digital watch before. The only people I could imagine wearing one is a stereotypical nerd/geek based on the the general media of the '90s.
I have a patek philippe. not really though. i wish.
this is definitely a thread that I did not expect seeing
Yeah I would like to have a self winding analog watch, I think that the winding mechanism is powered by swing the arm. That it would not be so big as fuck as well.
I own one, but mine's really unreliable, it goes at twice the rate it should.
My father is a watch-maker and I'm beginning to do it as a hobby myself. They're very nice however the only nice ones I have are pocket watches, not wrist watches :(
i refuse to wear a digital watch
i find it baffling that there are dudes my age who don't know how to read analog time
I have never seen someone wear a digital watch before. This is one that my father gave me for Christmas this year [editline]29th February 2012[/editline] 21 Jewel Hamilton Railway Special. Very nice watch.
I own this watch: Not my pictures but a very nicely built watch for a reasonable price, you can't go wrong.
i find it baffling that there are dudes my age who don't know how to read analog time
We were even taught in grades 2 and 6 about it and a while ago in driver training class some people didn't know the "10 and 2" rule because they couldn't analogue read clocks.
Oh dear god, The Hitchhiker's Guide was right. We're so primitive that we even find analog watches a pretty cool thing.
Currently have a Swiss Army 'Original' as my main watch, pretty sexy watch, replaced the strap with a leather one.
I have a skeleton watch. Watching it all working inside doesn't get boring.
I have a Seiko Analouge Quartz Cal. 7T62. It's a nice little watch. My only beef with it is that I got it in a black finish which has worn off on some areas because that's where it rests on a table.
I own this - got it for my b'day

Rolex watches are nearly always guilty of it and I just think it ruins a really attractive piece of jewellery.
can someone find me a nice cheap skeleton on amazon
