Yeah, they are. What's the issue with using a popular event to promote your own shit? It's good business
Video left me with an overall feeling of mild depression.

I've gotten up to around Volume 16. I was always sort of confused as to how the issueing worked in regards to the volumes and larger books and shit. Mind giving me the run down?

i'm bored of it??? i'm not disputing business tactics or slating hyundai - it's a pretty clever move by them - but gee zombies sure are boring. i can't go 10 minutes without zombies these days
Looks like something out of Zombie Driver ironically
Now if only that was a decent car to put it on, and Hyundai was a respectable company.
The big question: Is it road legal? :v:
I wonder what Max Brooks would say about this "zombie proof" car. :v:
It looks pretty damn good, but I sincerely doubt it'd be the best choice of vehicle. All the extra weight means higher fuel consumption which is a problem in an apocalypse. A hatchback is also probably the worst type to use as it only has the two doors for entry/exit as well as little space for hauling supplies and it'd be more awkward to get a weapon out the back, and use of firearms from within the vehicle wouldn't go too well due to the tight spaces.
I think the 2004 Dawn of the Dead had the right idea with the crazy battle-buses. They're internally spacious with room to stand, the occupants have basically 360 degrees to fire from, there are two exits which are accessible from any part of the vehicle and plenty of room for supplies as well as additional passengers. They run on diesel which isn't depleted as quickly, are heavier so less risk of death/injury in a crash, probably a lot more reliable than a Hyundai and in the worst case scenario, can still act as a static defensive position from the zombies.
A raised 4x4 would do 1000x better than this
Its a converted elantra. No vehicle will be the best at something unless it is custom built to be. You start from scratch, you don't try to mutate some poor machine into a hideous, sub par mockery of what you hope to achieve.
I want one
Needs covered wheel arches

Military Humvee

If you really want to argue an ideal vehicle, you'd want an Oshkosh, MTVR, or an MRAP. They're all heavy military trucks, with raised frames and huge storage capacity.
Personally I'd go with The Marauder.

100th issue already? I need to start reading The Walking Dead again soon, I bought up to Volume 6 at the beginning of 2010 then never got any more because they were $10-$12 a book.
Well it gets good gas mileage for your dollar I can tell you that.

So because you're bored of it, no one should make anything related to zombies anymore...?
I don't think that's how the world works :v:
Wow, even an american rep says hun-day. I thought employees would say it the correct way.

Why is a mouse eating fuel in a cheese factory

Yes but military vehicles aren't readily available to the average citizen. A modified bus is. The ideal vehicle would be a helicopter since you don't have to worry about anything but running out of fuel, when in transit

And noise, if you're trying to land somewhere you shouldn't be.
I love driving cars, but for any kind of situation where the shit's really hit the fan, some type of offroading capability and space for supplies like food, water, gas, camping gear, whatever, are going to be extremely handy. An SUV would probably be a lot more sensible.

I agree. I was honestly hoping for something more tank-like. I'd want nice thick armor plated steel walls around me to make sure my brain stays cozy in its shell, thank you very much.
An armored bus definetley seems like it would be the way to go. Although this car seems like it would be okay for quickly getting safely from one spot to another in an infested zone. Wouldn't rely on it as much if you were to get swarmed, though.
I barely got to see the car. All i saw was the cow catcher and the front. What about the interior? The back?

It's because Hyundai is a big sponsor for Walking Dead and the Elantra coupe is a brand new line coming out so they're promoting it with the zombie event.
